This Privacy Policy describes how Eclipse Cyber Nexus LLC (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the CutDeck application and the getcutdeck.app website.
1. Who we are
CutDeck is published by Eclipse Cyber Nexus LLC (“we”, “us”). For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
2. What CutDeck does with your media
CutDeck is designed so that video, audio, transcripts, and AI inference run on your device (or devices you control). We do not operate a CutDeck cloud that uploads your project media for transcription or clip generation as part of the core product.
- Media you import is processed locally to produce transcripts, keywords, and exported clips.
- We do not require a CutDeck account to use on-device features.
3. Information we may collect
A. Information you send us
If you email support or contact us, we receive the address and content you provide, and use it only to respond and improve support.
B. Purchase and store accounts
If you buy CutDeck through Apple App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store, payment and identity verification are handled by those stores. We receive limited purchase/entitlement signals needed to unlock the app (for example, that a license was purchased), not your full payment card details.
C. Optional diagnostics
If we enable opt-in crash or diagnostic reporting in a future release, we will describe what is sent, obtain consent where required, and avoid including your media files in those reports by default. Until such a feature ships with disclosure in-app, CutDeck does not silently upload crash telemetry as a required condition of use.
D. Website
Our websites are primarily static. Server logs on our hosting may record standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, URL, timestamp) for security and reliability. We do not use advertising trackers on these legal pages.
4. How we use information
- To provide and unlock CutDeck
- To respond to support requests
- To meet legal, tax, and store-policy obligations
- To secure our websites and services
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Platform operators (Apple, Google, Microsoft) as required for distribution and purchases
- Service providers who host our public websites or email, under obligations to protect data
- Authorities when required by law
6. Retention
Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request and for legitimate business records. Store purchase records follow each store’s systems. Website logs are retained for a limited operational period.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small software publisher. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Children
CutDeck is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your choices
You can stop using CutDeck and delete local app data through your device’s uninstall / storage controls. For access or deletion requests about information you sent us by email, contact [email protected].
10. International users
We are based in the United States. If you use CutDeck or our sites from another country, information you send us (such as email) may be processed in the U.S.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Effective” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
